SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER / TELESALES ACCOUNT MANAGER

Sales to existing clients

Up to £20k Basic (Negotiable DOE) plus Bonuses, plus ongoing basic salary reviews/increases plus realistic career progression routes

 

Our client are a hugely well established organisation with an excellent client base across both public and private sector whose success to date has been built on quality of service and focusing on long term relationships/partnerships.  Due to strategic growth plans (long term and short term) we are now seeking client focused and driven sales professionals to join their Manchester based team.

 

THE ROLE:

You will be provided with data on existing clients and will be tasked with growing business from within that existing client base.  Sales will be market sector or campaign led and will involve building long term relationships.  Whilst the role involves selling to existing clients this is definitely still a proactive sales role for someone with a natural work ethic who enjoys exceeding targets and achieving success using your initiative and self motivation to go the extra mile.  You will be closing deals over the phone whilst also arranging for Field Engineers to visit clients, when relevant, and will have the opportunity to attend client meetings to meet your clients face to face and gain a better understanding of their requirements/projects.  The services you will be promoting relate to design, installation and maintenance of electrical/technical projects - technical competence isn't required however a natural curiosity and interest within your industry is essential.

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:

Due to the immediate demands of the role it is essential all applicants match the following criteria:

  • You will have previous sales experience which has been completely, or predominantly, office / telephone based within a product or solution sales environment where you have worked towards both individual and team targets as a Telesales Executive, Internal Sales Engineer, Sales Account Manager, Telesales Account Manager or similar.
  • Relevant industry experience would be those with: Telesales experience working for a Manufacturing company, internal sales within Distribution sales, Telesales/Internal sales within Freight/Logistics, IT solution telesales, Telecoms telesales, Telesales within the Public Sector selling to Local Authorities/Health/Education or similar
  • You will have proven and natural ability in building and strengthening relationships over the phone, asking the right questions to the right people to gain an accurate understanding of their requirements and how your companies services can best match those requirements taking a genuine interest in their needs providing a quality service and professional approach at all times
  • Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm, Free Parking.
